I have made it. 

I am currently sitting on my bed at my host parent's house about ready to collapse. It is absolutely beautiful and much nicer than I expected. My host parent, Signora Capuani, however does not speak any english...at all. I better learn Italian quick!!!! Going to unpack, take a short nap, and then go exploring with my rommie Fiona!
