Orientation at the U

Today I had orientation at the University of Minnesota. I made it there in one piece, although there was a mishap with the GPS telling me I was there when I most certainly wasn't...but thankfully I had a friend with access to google to help me out. After arriving I had no idea where the building Blegen was so I followed the general flow of people. I finally just asked someone walking down the sidewalk who pointed with a chuckle to the building right in front of me... After finding the building I still had no idea where to go, first floor didn't look like there was classrooms so I headed to second and how lucky I was to find the right classroom right in front of me!

I ducked inside and found a seat in the back The orientation was nothing like what I was expecting and in all honesty was definitely not worth the 3 hours it took me to get there. After about a 45 minute power point by a mousy lady who needs to practice her public speaking skills I found a bathroom, took a couple pictures, and jumped right back in the car.....To wait in rush hour traffic! Literally going zero miles an hour. Whooo! Overal not a very successful adventure, but I would have been sad if I couldn't go, so still glad I went. :)
